Advent Technologies announced that it has signed an agreement with Saudi-based Hydrogen Systems to expand its business offering fuel cells and hydrogen energy products in the Middle East.
The companies recently revealed that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) whereby Hydrogen Systems will leverage existing relationships in the region to market, sell, distribute, install and service Advent's PEM fuel cell and hydrogen energy products.
In addition, both parties intend to collaborate and explore large-scale development opportunities for hydrogen fuel cell power applications in the region.
Advent will supply Hydrogen Systems with its high-temperature PEM (HT-PTEM) fuel cells, which it claims can generate electricity in extreme ambient temperatures as well as in conditions such as high air pollution and low humidity.
