Frequently asked questions
1. What is a home solar battery backup system?
The solar home battery backup power generation system generally consists of photovoltaic panels, inverters, and energy storage batteries;
Photovoltaic panels: Convert solar energy into electricity to form direct current.
Inverter: Convert the DC power converted by the photovoltaic panels into AC power to supply power to the home appliances, and the excess power to charge the battery; when the light intensity is not enough, the power in the battery is converted into AC power to supply power to the equipment.
Energy storage battery: Store the photovoltaic power and discharge it when the light intensity is not enough; in addition, it also has the function of steady current and voltage regulation.
2. What electrical equipment can be supported?
General household appliances can be brought, such as air conditioners, refrigerators, TVs, lighting, etc.; the total power of electrical equipment working at the same time cannot exceed 10KW.
3. How long can the stored power be used?
The time used to store electricity mainly depends on the power of the electrical equipment. Taking a 1P air conditioner as an example (power 700W), 10 kWh of electricity can be used for about 14.6 hours; after a general power outage, if there is a mains power outage, it can be used as a backup power supply to ensure Key electrical appliances are in normal use.
4. What is the difference between lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, graphene batteries, gel batteries, etc.?
Lithium batteries generally refer to ternary lithium-ion batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries;
The ternary lithium-ion battery has high energy density, smaller volume, and lighter weight under the same capacity, and is generally used in mobile and radio equipment, such as mobile phones, power tools, etc.; but the cycle life is short, generally around 1200 cycles, High battery activity, easy to catch fire, etc.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries have stable performance, high safety, and long cycle life. Generally, there is no memory effect for more than 3500 cycles.
Lead-acid batteries, graphene batteries, colloidal batteries for solar energy, etc. are all lead-acid batteries in essence, with low energy density, large size, and weight, cycle life is generally about 400 times, and low discharge depth (one degree of electricity is actually discharged less than 0.7 degrees), the lifespan is generally about one and a half years.
5. How to distinguish the quality of battery cells?
Taking lithium batteries as an example, A-grade battery cells are completely produced according to the standard. After the battery cells are formed into battery modules, the consistency and performance are more stable; however, many suppliers will also claim that they are A-grade battery cells. It is generally impossible to distinguish, it is recommended to choose a manufacturer that has its own battery cell production base like MANLY.
6. Description of the working mode
Photovoltaic priority mode: Photovoltaics and batteries supply power to the load, and a variety of charging modes and output modes are optional. When the photovoltaic priority mode is selected, it can maximize the use of green solar energy and achieve energy saving and emission reduction. When the photovoltaic is invalid, it switches to the main power supply. This mode maximizes the use of solar energy while maintaining battery power, which is suitable for areas where the power grid is relatively stable.
Mains priority mode: Switch to an inverter power supply only when the mains is invalid, which is equivalent to a backup UPS and is used in areas with unstable power grids.
Inverter priority mode: Switch to a mains power supply only when the battery is under voltage, this mode uses DC power to the greatest extent and is used in areas with stable power grids.
Mixed function mode: When the battery is not connected or the battery is fully charged, the load is mixed with photovoltaic and commercial power, and the maximum output power is output.
7. About power generation
The main influencing factors of photovoltaic power generation are photovoltaic panel power, light intensity, and photovoltaic installation angle, position, etc. The general calculation method is total photovoltaic power * average sunshine duration * conversion efficiency (usually 0.9). Taking a 535W photovoltaic panel as an example, if the effective illumination time is 5 hours, a panel can generate electricity in a single day: 2.4 kWh.
8. What is the relationship between power generation efficiency and power generation?
Power generation efficiency is the ability of the maximum current output per unit area after absorbing sunlight. The higher the power generation efficiency, the smaller the area of the photovoltaic panel under the same power. Power generation is only related to power, not efficiency. No matter what the efficiency of a 500W module is, the output is 500W. The higher the efficiency, the smaller the size. The lower the efficiency, the larger the size.
9. About photovoltaic installation requirements
Area: Take a single 535W photovoltaic panel as an example, the length is 2279MM, the width is 1134MM, and the area of a single block is about 2.5 square meters. A set of 8 photovoltaic panels requires about 20 square meters of area. About the roof: flat roof, tile roof, color steel roof, glass house, etc., can be installed.
10. Why is there certification?
Product certification is a basic threshold. For consumers, certified products have an additional layer of protection. If there is no certification, it means that there may be potential safety hazards, threatening the safety of users' lives and property. It is recommended that users purchase certification Complete products.
