On December 8th, CATL and Honda announced that Honda would purchase 123GWH pure electric vehicle power batteries from Ningde Times from 2024 to 2030.
In 2020, Honda and CATL signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on the new energy vehicle power battery. The cooperation between the two parties widely covered the co -development, stable supply, recycling and reuse of power batteries. With the continuous expansion of E: N brand pure electric vehicle products and sales scale, the two parties have further strengthened cooperative relations. From 2024 to 2030, Honda is expected to purchase 123GWH pure electric vehicle power batteries from Ningde Times.
The achievement of this procurement agreement helps Honda consolidate the long -term stable power battery supply and demand system, ensure that the two parties maintain a leading position in the global transportation electrification transformation, and set a new milestone for the deepening of the cooperative relationship between the two parties. The two sides will use their respective advantages to jointly enhance competitiveness, and help global electrification transformation and carbon neutralization and vision.
