Denmark photovoltaic installation capacity reaches 3.2GW

According to the latest data from the Denmark Energy Agency, as of the end of March 2023, the Danish solar installation capacity reached 3251 mW, distributed in 131979 photovoltaic systems.

The self -use photovoltaic device built without subsidies accounts for 1.72 GW, and the solar array according to the power purchase agreement is 336 mW. In addition, the project selected in the public bidding contributed 248 MW, and the photovoltaic system installed according to the expired incentive plan accounted for 938 MW.

The agency recorded a new photovoltaic capacity of 236 mW in the first quarter of this year, and in a statement, the developer's photovoltaic power generation equipment that developers accepted the grid in the first three months of 2023 were more than 2021. The agency also said that Denmark's photovoltaic system installed from March 2022 to March 2023 exceeded 1 GW.

Large enterprises are increasingly considered to be clean power from solar energy, resulting in the increase in market share without subsidized large photovoltaic projects. Although the economic profit margin of these photovoltaic facilities may be low compared with wind power, these photovoltaic facilities continue to get attracting gravity in the market. According to a recent report of Rystad Energy, Denmark is expected to lead the solar development of the Naka Peninsula to a photovoltaic power generation of 9 GW by 2030. Rystad Energy said Danish will also lead the use of green hydrogen, accounting for 12%of the European market.
