1, cell consistency improvement: minimize the number of material suppliers, the larger the batch of materials and batteries, the more conducive to improving consistency and reducing batch differences; try to improve the degree of automation of equipment, select high-precision, high stability equipment is conducive to improving the consistency of the battery.

 

2、Strict consistency screening must be carried out when the power battery is assembled: the specifications of the battery assembling technique should be complete, scientific, reasonable and feasible; the larger the batch of products produced in the same batch, the more consistency is guaranteed, and the mixed batch assembling is strictly controlled.

 

3、Increase the safety protection equalization detection circuit or place the device that can be balanced maintenance: ensure that the equalization function of the battery protection system is really effective to prevent overcharge and overdischarge; the design of the protection system should be scientific, reasonable and reliable in quality.

 

4, thermal management: for the internal resistance of inconsistent cells, the generation of heat is not the same problem. The addition of thermal management system can regulate the temperature difference of the whole battery pack to keep it in a small range. The cell that generates more heat still has a high temperature rise, but it will not pull away from other cells, and the deterioration level will not be significantly different.

 

Factors affecting the safe use and cycle life of the battery, in addition to the battery's own process and product quality, a critical issue is: the safety control and thermal management technology when charging the battery as a group. Without perfect battery group safety control and thermal management technology, battery safety and long life cycle can not be guaranteed, therefore, the power battery charging management system is as important as the safety of the battery itself.
