In the first 10 months of 2022, a 6.1 GW photovoltaic system was installed in Germany.
The latest data from the German Federal Network (Bundesnetzagentur) shows that Germany registered a new photovoltaic system of 706.5 MW in October. In contrast, the photovoltaic installation capacity of September 2022 was 750 mW and 411.9 mW in October 2021.
According to Bundesnetzagentur, major German developers have built a new 6.12 GW photovoltaic system so far this year. The new installation capacity of the same period in 2021 was 4.4 GW.
In October, the capacity of the registered photovoltaic system installed according to the German EEG renewable energy incentive plan reached 607 mW, of which about 338 MW did not belong to the scope of the large project bidding mechanism.
