Japanese Panasonic recently said that the company is considering building a new battery factory in Oklahoma, which will be the company's third factory in the United States.
In July last year, Panasonic rejected Oklahoma when choosing a site for its second American electric vehicle battery factory, and finally chose to build a factory in Kansas to produce batteries for Tesla. Oklahoma said that if Panasonic built a factory in the state, the investment scale of the new plant will be as high as US $ 4 billion and will create up to 4,000 jobs.
