The Dutch ALFEN is deploying a 30MW/68MWH battery energy storage project in the Netherlands

The Dutch Energy Storage and Smart Grid Solution ALFEN said recently that the company is deploying a 30MW/68MWH battery energy storage project in the Netherlands and will be put into use later this year. This is the largest battery storage currently under construction in the Netherlands. Energy project.

ALFEN will provide and deploy a battery energy storage system for renewable energy developer Semper Power. The name of the Pollix battery energy storage project is deployed in Flinsonen, a port in the southwestern part of the Netherlands. The two companies plan to open the project in the fourth quarter of 2023.

 

This is the largest battery energy storage project under the Netherlands under construction, and defeated the 30MW/63MWH battery energy storage system used by Rolls-Royce with a weak advantage. These two battery energy storage projects last for more than two hours.

 

Semper Power will be responsible for the development, financing and operation of energy storage systems, and ALFEN will be responsible for the design, supply, civil engineering, installation, testing and long -term maintenance of the project.
