Battery needle test:
Test conditions: fully charge the 18650 cell with φ If a 3mm steel nail runs through the battery perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (the steel needle stays in the battery for 1min), it can be judged as qualified without fire or explosion.
2. Battery impact test:
Test conditions: fully charged cell, 9.1kg weight free-falling from 0.61m height to 15.8mm diameter steel rod (steel rod on test cell). No fire and no explosion shall be deemed qualified.
3. Battery extrusion test:
Test conditions: fully charge the cell, place it between two extrusion surfaces of the extrusion equipment, gradually increase the pressure to 13KN, and hold the pressure for 1min. No fire and no explosion shall be deemed qualified.
Play the battery like this without exploding, this battery is often said to be a genuine 18650 battery. It can be used in digital cameras, children's tools, remote control aircraft, e-cigarettes, strong light flashlights, portable speakers, and so on, the specific need to carry out battery design according to the characteristics of the product, to ensure the double safety of the battery.
