A LiFePO4 battery has a lower operating voltage of 3.2V and operating voltage than other common lithium-ion battery types, such as Nickel Manganese Cobalt and Nickel Cobalt Aluminum. LiFePO4 batteries are being used in a variety of applications, including car applications, utility-scale stationary applications, and backup power.
