Lithium ion battery PACK is the meaning of packaging, packaging, assembly, its process is divided into production, assembly, packaging three parts. A PACK is a single component. A PACK production line typically performs only two functions: delivery and testing. At present, manufacturers generally use semi-automatic PACK assembly production line, mainly used for PACK online, offline, testing, in-plant transmission and packaging.

Features of lithium ion battery PACK


① Lithium-ion batteries are required to have a high degree of consistency.


② The cycle life of a battery PACK is lower than that of a single battery.

④ Lithium ion battery PACK after the formation of the battery voltage and capacity has been greatly improved, it must be protected, the charge balance, temperature, voltage and overcurrent monitoring.

Lithium ion battery PACK can be realized in two ways. One is through laser welding, ultrasonic welding or pulse welding, which is a common welding method. The advantage is good reliability, but not easy to replace. The second is through the elastic metal sheet contact, the advantage is no need to weld, easy to replace the battery, the disadvantage is that may lead to poor contact.


In the whole process from lithium-ion battery cell to automatic module to battery PACK processing line, the degree of automation of assembly line is the key factor to determine product quality and processing efficiency. Since the battery PACK standard is not unified, the automatic manufacturing in the PACK link is almost blank. In order to further achieve the improvement of processing efficiency and the reduction of cost, it is necessary to vigorously promote the use of automatic processing equipment for lithium ion batteries.
