On November 24, local time, BYD signed an order with Nobina, the largest public transport operator in Northern Europe, for 70 buses. This is another joint effort with Nobina to promote the electrification of public transport in Finland, following the delivery of the largest fleet of pure electric buses in Finland this summer. This is byd's second order for all-electric buses in Finland, and the buses are scheduled to be put into operation on the Helsinki metropolitan bus line in summer 2022.
The new order covers byd's two best-selling models, including 42 13-meter electric buses and 28 15-meter electric buses. Thanks to the new upgraded lithium iron phosphate battery, both models have a range of more than 400km in SORT conditions, with a range of 450km for the 15m model, fully meeting the vehicle's operating requirements in Northern Europe. In August, BYD launched Finland's largest fleet of all-electric buses (119 units) for Nobina on schedule. So far, the fleet has safely traveled more than 1 million kilometers, equivalent to saving more than 1,400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

At present, more than 600 BYD pure electric buses are operating in The Nordic region, with a total mileage of more than 30 million kilometers and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 30,000 tons.
