Recently, CATL and the battery energy storage project development company HGP reached a 450MWH battery energy storage project supply agreement. The two sides will also establish long -term partnerships to promote the implementation of up to 5GWH public business -level and distributed energy storage projects to meet the growing demand for renewable energy energy in Texas.
The 450MWH battery energy storage project will be deployed in Texas, which is expected to start commercial operations in 2024. In CATL ENERC will provide HGP outdoor prefabricated compartment system, which has the characteristics of high security, long life and high integration. Enerc has both IP55 protection level and C5 anticorrosive grade, which can adapt to various extreme weather. Thanks to the integrated liquid cooling system of CATL, the safe and reliable operation of the project will be further guaranteed.
