Indian state -owned enterprise Coal India has signed an agreement to build a 1.19 GW solar project in the 2 GW Solar Park of Vidyut Utpadan Nigam, Lajastan, India, with an estimated cost of US $ 974 million.
Coal India and Rajasthan VidyututPadan Nigam LTD. (RVunl) signed a memorandum of understanding, which will build a 1.19 GW solar power project in Rvunl, Rvunl, Rvunl, Rvunl, Rvunl, Rvunl, Rvunl.
COAL India said: "This is the largest solar power generation project planned by Coal India so far, accounting for nearly 40%of the grand plan for the establishment of a 3 GW solar energy project based on the net zero emissions initiative before fiscal 2023-24."
The solar park is approved in accordance with the large -scale renewable energy power generation parks of India's New Energy and Renewable Resources Department, and it is expected to be completed within 24 months.
As of now, Coal India has announced the 265 MW solar plan, and 35 MW will be completed by the end of October. The company's goal is to install 1.2 GW in fiscal year 2023-24.
