Baoding’s total installed capacity of new energy is 325,000 kilowatts, accounting for 16.8% of the total installed capacity of new energy in the southern Hebei power grid, and 59.8% of the total installed capacity of the Baoding power grid. In 2021, five counties in the city will be listed in the National Energy Administration’s "Counties (cities, districts) rooftop distributed photovoltaic development" pilot counties.
