Food delivery and fast business platform Talabat has announced it will be the official food delivery provider for Expo dubai 2020. It will showcase more than 30 brands and 15 cuisines from around the world, becoming the largest cultural event in the world.
Under the agreement, Talabat will cater for both catering and delivery customers, with passengers able to use electric scooters to deliver goods at fixed locations throughout the expo site.
"Expo dubai 2020 will offer something for everyone, with food at the heart of its multicultural experience -- visitors will be able to explore exciting global cuisine without ever leaving the UAE," said Galal Abdellatif, Director of Catering at Expo Dubai 2020.
"With Expo 2020 less than 50 days away, we can't wait to showcase the future of food delivery experiences and support the UAE in welcoming the world to an unprecedented celebration," said Tomaso Rodriguez, CEO of Talabat.
Rodriguez explains how to make food delivery more efficient.
"Our cloud kitchen concept brings unique advantages. In addition to providing customers with fresh cooked food in a variety of different cooking methods, it also reduces waste and makes our delivery service more efficient and flexible."
Expo 2020, which will run from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, is one of the first major global events to be held since the COVID-19 outbreak.
