Ford recently filed a patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office describing an "over-the-air power-up" system for electric vehicles.
It is reported that the patent was published on August 18, 2022. According to the patent, the technology could allow the Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup to charge other electric vehicles while towing it, even when the vehicle is following.
