Maintenance method
1. First check whether the wiring port of the lamp is loose.
2. Remove the LED light source and connect the battery or DC12v power supply to see if the light works normally. Pay attention to the positive and negative poles. If the light does not light up, the LED light is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the light is on, the controller or battery is faulty.
3. Measure battery power. If it is lower than 11v, it means that the controller is in a protection state, and the lamp can only be used after it is fully charged. If it is higher than 11v, the controller is faulty and needs to be replaced.
4. Third, the battery is also a link that is prone to failure. The batteries used by many manufacturers are not waterproof, resulting in a short circuit of the positive and negative electrodes after the battery enters the water, resulting in unstable voltage. During the test, carefully observe the change of the battery voltage with the depth of discharge. If it cannot be used normally, replace it with a new one.
5. Finally, check the wiring for damage. If the insulation wears down, current is conducted through the lamp post, causing a short circuit and the lamp does not light up. By the way, some solar street lights are turned on during the day and cannot be turned off. In this case, 80% of the controller components are burnt out and need to be replaced with original parts.
