Data show that in 2021, the European Household Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) was installed with 650,000 groups, which had exceeded 1 million groups in 2022.
It is estimated that in 2022, the installation volume of the European home battery energy storage system will exceed 420,000 units, which will use the optical storage system to power the entire European mainland. As of the end of 2022, it is expected that the cumulative installed capacity of the home battery energy storage system in Europe will increase to 9.3GWh. Under normal circumstances, the total installed capacity of the family energy storage system will increase by more than 300%by the end of 2026, reaching 32.2GWh, and families with optical storage systems will reach 3.9 million. Ideally, the total installation capacity will be further increased to 44GWh.
