For the lithium battery "activation" problem, many say: the charging time must be more than 12 hours, repeated three times, in order to activate the battery. This "the first three times to charge more than 12 hours", obviously from the nickel battery (such as nickel cadmium and nickel hydride) continued to say. So it was a misrepresentation to begin with.


The charging and discharging characteristics of lithium iron batteries and nickel batteries are very different, and can be very clear to tell you that small make up all the serious formal technical data have emphasized that the charge and discharge will cause great damage to lithium batteries, especially liquid lithium ion batteries. Therefore, lithium battery charging is best in accordance with the standard time and standard methods of charging, especially do not carry out more than 12 hours of extra-long charging. Usually, the charging method described in the instruction manual is the standard charging method.


In fact, shallow charging is more beneficial for lithium-ion batteries, and is only necessary when the power module of the product is calibrated for the lithium battery. Therefore, the use of lithium power supply products do not need to rigidly adhere to the process, all to the convenience of the first, at any time to charge, do not have to worry about affecting the life.


Activation method of battery car lithium battery "starvation"


Starved battery refers to the battery that has not been charged for a long time, and the charger does not respond when recharging, and the current without charging is measured with a multimeter. Even if the battery is charged for a long time, it still cannot be used.


Here are five good ways to save most of these "starved" lithium battery batteries in battery cars. Notice it's a majority, not a hundred percent.


First, series method. A 12 volt battery of normal voltage is connected in series on the whole battery group. For example, the original car is 48V-20Ah battery, then let's connect another 12V-20Ah battery. A 12V battery with sufficient power has a voltage of about 13V. After being connected in series, the voltage of the whole battery can be raised, and then charged with its original charger. In this way, it can be charged into the battery. When the charger turns green, remove the extra battery that is connected in series. Then charge it normally.


Two, parallel method. This method is a little trickier. For example, the original vehicle is 48V-20Ah battery, we have another group in parallel, 48V-20Ah battery. It is known that the voltage in a parallel circuit is the same everywhere, and that the higher voltage end will flow into the lower voltage end. This method is also used by many battery dealers to test completely dead batteries. And then charging can also achieve the purpose of charging. It's the same principle as connecting a battery in a series. It's going to raise the voltage of the whole group up.


Three, low voltage charging method. Choose a small type of charger to charge. For example, say a set of 60V-20Ah batteries, then we are using a 48V-20Ah charger for charging. In most cases, it can be filled. The principle is also similar to the first, charging voltage and battery voltage closer to the two ends.


Four, single battery charging method. The battery can be activated by charging a single battery with a 12-volt motorcycle charger. However, this kind of charging is relatively slow. Generally, it will take more than 7 hours before the battery voltage slowly rises back to about 12V. It takes a lot of time to charge all single pieces.


Five, special charger method. It can automatically identify the battery voltage, no matter how many volts the battery voltage is, it can automatically identify the voltage, and it can be charged into. For example, the original car is 60V-20Ah battery, now only 30V less than, it can still charge to the inside. With the rise of the voltage, and fully adapt to a higher order of voltage, and then charge the battery.
