A few days ago, Narada has won the lithium battery energy storage system project of the Italian national power company group, with a total capacity of 597.88MWh, achieving a major breakthrough in the contracted project.
This project is a benchmark project for the company to enter the mainstream electric auxiliary service market in Europe and America, and will strongly promote the rapid development of the company's energy storage business in overseas markets in the future.
The energy storage system projects signed this time include the Stampede photovoltaic energy storage project in the United States, the France Post photovoltaic energy storage project in the United States and the La Casella grid service project in Italy.
Narada Power will provide lithium battery non-walk-in energy storage containers and systems for the project, and provide value-added services such as on-site commissioning and training. The project is expected to be delivered by the end of 2022.
Among them, the U.S. Stampede and U.S. France Post photovoltaic energy storage projects can store photovoltaic resources during peak power generation, while reducing the volatility of new energy units. Actively support the stable operation of the power grid.
The La Casella power grid service project in Italy is the company's largest overseas lithium battery energy storage project, and it will be one of the largest lithium battery energy storage projects in Italy after it is connected to the grid. After installation and grid connection, it can greatly improve the reliability of power supply in the region, improve the power supply capacity of the power grid during peak load periods, meet the power demand of large loads, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
The project adopts Narada's pre-installed modular lithium iron phosphate energy storage system, which will greatly reduce the time and cost of on-site module installation. After all energy storage systems are transported to the project site, only the rack full of modules needs to be installed in in the container.
In addition, the plan also selects the lithium iron phosphate battery independently developed and produced by Narada. The battery module has high energy density and long cycle life. In terms of safety, Narada's MW-level containerized lithium battery energy storage system has applied for and obtained UL9540 and UL9540A certification, which ensures the safe and efficient operation of the energy storage system.
Founded in 1962, the Italian national power company is the world's third largest power company and one of the world's largest energy storage power station project operators. The company is currently striving to become an energy company with renewable energy, distribution and sales of electricity and integrated energy services as its main development direction.
As the first batch of qualified suppliers certified by the Italian National Electric Power Company, the company has deployed lithium battery energy storage systems with a total capacity of more than 160MWh in the United States, Italy, Peru and other places before the signing of cooperation.
The successful signing of this project will further deepen the strategic partnership between Narada and Italian National Electric Power Company, consolidate the company's leading position in the international energy storage industry, and effectively promote the company's expansion and layout in the global energy storage market.
