According to sources from CICC, NiO auto successfully completed its $2 billion ATM Offering in The U.S. on November 19, 2021. Cicc acted as The sales agent for The transaction.
The net proceeds will be used to further strengthen its balance sheet and for general corporate purposes, after deducting commissions and offering fees of approximately $26m.
According to niO's third-quarter earnings report, the company achieved revenue of 9.81 billion yuan in the third quarter, cash reserves of 47 billion yuan, r&d expenses of 1.19 billion yuan, and the delivery of 24,439 vehicles set a new high. The company said it will further increase investment in product research and development, capacity improvement, electricity charging and sales service network in 2022.
In terms of delivery volume, FROM January to October, NIO delivered 70,062 new cars in total, up 122.9% year on year. By the end of October, NiO had delivered 145,703 vehicles in total. For the fourth quarter, NiO expects total deliveries to reach 23,500 to 25,500 units, possibly setting another record.
