Octopus Investments Australia has launched two renewable energy investment vehicles, the Octopus Australia Sustainable Investments Fund (OASIS) for institutional investors and the Octopus Renewable Energy Opportunities (OREO) for en bloc sale investors.
The first project jointly acquired by OASIS and OREO is the 333 MW Darlington Point Solar Farm - the largest operating solar project in Australia.
Octopus Investments Australia is owned by the UK-based Octopus Group, which manages 3 GW of renewable energy assets in nine countries worth more than A$6.9 billion.
