Chinese solar product manufacturer Seraphim Energy Group Co Ltd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deliver up to 1 GW of PV modules to Luxembourg-based renewable energy investor and developer Resolar Sarl.
The two companies recently announced that the device will be used by Resolar for a project planned for 2023. The capacity will be installed in the EU solar market, but specific details on the selected location and required investment were not available.
The MoU was signed under the REPowerEU programme, through which the European Commission (EC) seeks to end Europe's reliance on Russian gas and accelerate the transition to clean energy.
Seraphim Energy has delivered hardware for more than 14GW of solar projects around the world since its inception in 2011, the company noted.
