The project specially hired more than 100 "people" for lurking and fork-fetching robots. Under the digital management mode of warehousing information, real-time interpretation of "faster, higher, stronger, more united" smart logistics.
It is understood that in June 2021, the project team finally decided to join hands with Hikvision Robot to jointly design a smart logistics solution based on mobile robots (AMR) with the overall goal of providing more intelligent and efficient services.
This project serves a leading 3C company in China. The company has a large number of product categories and warehouse goods, and the complexity of storage and sorting is extremely high. Traditional solutions are difficult to meet the continuously growing and fluctuating business needs. The company uses the warehouse area for the storage and transfer of ordinary domestic materials and bonded materials, and has invested nearly 150 latent robots and omnidirectional fork robots. The robot control system RCS and the intelligent warehouse management system iWMS are seamlessly connected to the upper-level modular platform management system of SF's supply chain to realize the goods-to-person management and logistics information visualization of the warehousing business.
It is reported that by using robots to automatically transport stored materials to designated workstations, the overall finding ability has been increased by more than 30%, and the time for “people to find goods” has been greatly shortened. The innovative hybrid racking and intensive storage mode are adopted to maximize the storage capacity of the warehouse, increase the site utilization rate by nearly 40%, reduce the stacking of goods, and make the operation area more orderly.
