Spanish solar tracking solutions provider PV Hardware plans to build a 6GW tracker manufacturing plant in Texas, USA.
The factory is expected to be operational by June 2023 and will be PV Hardware's third wholly-owned factory. In addition, the company has a factory at its headquarters in Spain and a factory in Saudi Arabia.
PV Hardware has been operating in the United States since 2011, supplying the company's products including solar trackers, fixed structures and SCADA systems to 36 photovoltaic projects across the country.
PV Hardware is supplying single-axis trackers for Europe's largest PV plant, the 590MW Francisco Pizarro project in Spain, which was completed last month.
