Dr. Syed Mubeen, Chief Scientific Officer of SunHydrogen, Inc. (OTC:HYSR), a developer of breakthrough technology for the production of renewable hydrogen from sunlight and water, provided its shareholders with an update on the company's multiple planned goals for 2022 :
"Over the past six months, we have expanded our industrial partnerships with the U.S., Germany, South Korea and Japan, and renewed and launched new collaborations with the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan, respectively."
"Since serving as Chief Scientific Officer, I have worked to expand SunHydrogen's scientific operations and research capabilities to expand our nanotechnology. I am proud to report that SunHydrogen will demonstrate production-grade production of its nanoparticle-based green hydrogen technology. prototype."
"SunHydrogen has added a new R&D laboratory in Coralville, Iowa, beginning in 2022, to meet its goal of scaling up the manufacturing of its nanoparticle hydrogen production unit by the end of fiscal 2022. We have hired several new senior engineers and chemists, and are streamlining production operations, a task made easier by adding personnel.”
"SunHydrogen is also pleased to report positive progress in product development in January and February. We have successfully validated the manufacturability of growth substrates and deposition formulations to the scale required for production-grade prototype demonstrations."
“We are currently trying to address some of the feedstock supply chain challenges, with full resolution expected in early May. We have also finalized research partnerships with external membrane and catalyst developers to integrate these elements into our nanoparticle hydrogen generator units. structure."
"SunHydrogen's sponsored research agreements with the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan are ongoing, with the potential for additional research and product development milestones in the second half of 2022."
"We plan to build on this progress with multiple high-quality prototypes by the end of the year for the remainder of 2022."
"Our expected product development goals for the fourth quarter of 2022 include:
-Successful fabrication of semiconductor units at production-level prototype scale;
- Successfully integrated membranes at a production-grade prototype scale;
- Successfully integrated catalysts at a production-grade prototype scale;
- Successful testing and demonstration of production-grade prototype units. "
SunHydrogen is developing a breakthrough low-cost technology to produce renewable hydrogen from sunlight and any water source, including seawater and wastewater. The only by-product of hydrogen fuel is pure water, unlike hydrocarbon fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas, which release carbon dioxide and other pollutants into the atmosphere when used.
By optimizing the science of water electrolysis at the nanometer level, low-cost nanoparticles mimic photosynthesis and efficiently use sunlight to separate hydrogen from water, ultimately producing environmentally friendly renewable hydrogen. This unique technique is called: Photosynthesis of Active Heterostructures (PAH).
Each PAH nanoparticle is a microscopic machine, composed of multiple layers that enable solar electrolysis reactions to occur. This is a process similar to what happens inside plant cells during photosynthesis.
Powered by solar energy, billions of tiny nanoparticles split water at the molecular level, extracting hydrogen for clean energy, leaving only clean oxygen as a by-product.
