Recently, Tesla officially announced the delivery data for the second quarter. In the second quarter of 2022, Tesla produced more than 258,600 vehicles globally and delivered nearly 254,700 vehicles despite ongoing supply chain challenges and factory shutdowns.
Tesla said June 2022 was the highest month for vehicle production in Tesla's history, despite ongoing supply chain challenges and factory shutdowns.
However, although Tesla’s 254,700 deliveries in the second quarter were higher than the 201,300 units in the same period last year, it was down 17.9% from the first quarter.
According to the data, Tesla delivered more than 310,000 electric vehicles in the first quarter, and produced 305,400 vehicles. The production and delivery volume increased by nearly 70% year-on-year.
