FLUENCE, an integrated battery storage system, said recently that it will optimize the use of its intelligent bidding software solution as a battery storage system that the US public business manufacturer AES has recently completed the deployment in California.
AES opened 127MW/508MWH LANCASTER AREA BATTERY (LAB) battery energy storage system on September 2, which is the second part of a 908MWH comprehensive deployment energy storage project.
FLUENCE has announced this cooperation a few days ago and revealed that the LAB battery energy storage system will use the Mosaic cloud platform provided by FLUENCE to intelligent bidding in the wholesale market in California. The market is mainly operated by California Independent System Operator (CAISO).
The MOSAIC cloud platform will be integrated directly with FLUENCE Gridstack energy storage system. The company said that this will enable it to process the operation restrictions and parameters in real time, and use artificial intelligence technology to maximize the market income of the LAB battery energy storage system.
LAB battery energy storage system and LUNA battery energy storage system (which is another 100MW/400MWH battery energy storage system of the project) will use Fluence's operating service packages to obtain performance guarantee and maintenance support.
Although the size of the digital service department of Fluice is small, it has grown rapidly. In the company's recent quarterly performance, the "management assets" of digital project departments increased by 310%, and the deployment of "energy storage services" and "energy storage products" increased by 95.7%and 62.7%, respectively. This is also the only field in the three fields of Fluice.
AES and Siemens co -founded Fluence, and after FLUENCE completed the IPO at the end of 2021, the two companies still hold most of the company's shares.
