The difference between lithium and dry cell batteries

The working principles, characteristics and uses of the two types of batteries are different. In principle, the battery converts electrical energy (discharge) and chemical energy (charge) through the cycle of internal active substances, while the dry cell uses absorbents to turn the contents into a paste to generate electrical energy; in terms of characteristics, lithium batteries">lithium batteries can be recycled many times, and dry cells are disposable and cannot be charged and discharged repeatedly. The following is a detailed description.

  I. Working principle

1, the battery: after discharge, the ability to charge the internal active material regeneration of electrical energy stored as chemical energy, the need to discharge again to convert chemical energy into electrical energy, belonging to a rechargeable battery can be recycled many times.

2, dry cell: is a kind of volt battery, belongs to the disposable battery, the use of some kind of absorbent (such as wood chips or gelatin) to make the contents into a paste that will not spill.

  Second, the characteristics of

1, battery: the use of external electrical energy to regenerate the internal active material when charging, the electrical energy stored as chemical energy, the need to discharge again when the chemical energy is converted to electrical output, such as the commonly used in life, such as cell phone batteries.

2, dry cell: manganese zinc battery, the middle is the positive carbon rod, the outside is a mixture of graphite and manganese dioxide, and then outside is a layer of fiber network, the network is coated with a very thick electrolyte paste, its composition is ammonium chloride solution and starch, and a small amount of preservative, the outermost layer is a metal zinc skin made of barrel, which is the negative electrode.

  Third, the use

1, battery: with a smooth voltage, safety and reliability, low price, wide range of applications, abundant raw materials and recycling and high utilization rate, is the world's largest production of various types of batteries, the most widely used a battery.

2, dry cell: mainly used in flashlights, semiconductor radios, recorders, cameras, electronic clocks, toys and other products.
