The ship’s power source-high temperature methanol fuel cell was developed by Zhongke Jiahong (Foshan) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Its core technology originated from Sun Gongquan's team from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The team has been deeply involved in the field of fuel cells for more than 20 years. In the process of industrialization, it received special support from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The high-temperature methanol fuel cell has high specific energy and is environmentally friendly. As long as the fuel is continuously supplied, it can generate sustainable and stable power generation. At a working temperature of 150-180 degrees Celsius, 200 kilograms of methanol can generate about 400 degrees of electricity, at a speed of 5.5 knots (Neihu It can drive the boat for more than 20 hours under limited speed. To achieve the same battery life, lead-acid batteries need 15-20 tons.
