Veorlan said recently that the company has deployed a 125MW/250MWH battery energy storage project in California, which can help California Independent System Operators (CAISO) to respond to the hot waves encountered in September 2022.
In a statement issued by Veorlan on February 21, Wascori stated on February 21 that the call of the LECONTE battery energy storage project was put into use in time to stabilize the power grid operation to provide services during the heat waves in California.
According to industry media reports at the time, the battery storage system operated by California played an important role in avoiding large -scale power outages. As of the end of January 2023, the installed capacity of the battery energy storage system deployed in the state was about 4.6GW.
The project was developed and deployed by Veorlan Corporation for REV Renewables. One of the business companies (iOU).
Veorlan provides its modular energy storage system Gridsolv Quantum, as well as the energy management system (EMS) and GEMS digital energy platforms, and will carry out long -term management of the LECONTE battery energy storage system through its services+solutions. This is the first battery energy storage project deployed by Veorlan Company for REV Renewables.
According to a survey report released by the investigation agency IHS Markit in 2021, Veorlan is one of the world's largest battery energy storage system integrators. In the past few months, the company's energy storage system has been opened in Hawaii, the Philippines and Chile.
