At present, with the development of society, science and technology have been new development and application. 1. Simple structure


The continuous jumping flexible robot is composed of a zigzag matrix, a stiffening rib, a side guard band, an elastic band, and a shape memory alloy spring. It is divided into head, tail, and abdomen which can rotate freely around folding joint. The lightweight, flexible body improves the impact resistance of the robot, and several reinforcement ribs are installed to fix the shape of the head and tail. The anti-symmetric setting of the upper and lower edges of the abdomen is to form the asymmetric deformation of the elastic band and realize the oblique jumping of the robot.


2, good jump


The shape matrix rotates around the folding joint of the abdomen, resulting in close contact with the upper ends. The elastic band is pressed through the rectangular opening, and the yellow part of the elastic band slips at the edge. In this process, the elastic band bends and stores energy. When it reaches the critical state of bending limit, it changes from arc shape to cosine-like shape, and the elastic band reverses to impact the ground and release energy. In other words, it changes from convex shape to concave shape, and the robot jumps upward in the oblique direction.


3, good performance


On a relatively smooth plane, the elastic belt flips diagonally, causing a skidding phenomenon when hitting the ground. The effect of the elastic belt's diagonally jumping is greatly weakened, resulting in the robot flipping in the air after jumping. In order to make the robot adapt to different working surfaces, friction paper is pasted on the appropriate part of the elastic belt of the robot to increase the grip force when the elastic belt interacts with the ground, and the jumping performance of the robot on the same workbench is improved compared with that without friction pad.


At present, the working principle of the flexible robots is relatively good, so it has been applied and developed in many fields. In the future, with the development of this technology, its performance can be further developed and improved.
