Our robotics experts have divided robots into two major categories, namely industrial robots and special robots, from the application environment. Industrial robots are multi-joint manipulators or multi-degree of freedom robots for industrial applications. Special robots, on the other hand, are advanced robots that are used in non-manufacturing industries and serve humans, in addition to industrial robots.
Classification of special robots
Specialty robots are robots that are used in specialized fields and are generally operated or used by specially trained personnel to assist and/or replace humans in performing tasks.
Special robots can be classified according to the main industries in which they are used: agricultural robots, electric power robots, construction robots, logistics robots, medical robots, nursing robots, rehabilitation robots, security and rescue robots, military robots, nuclear industry robots, mining robots, petrochemical robots, municipal engineering robots, and other industry robots.
According to the space used by special robots (land, water, air, space), special robots can be divided into: ground robots, underground robots, surface robots, underwater robots, air robots, space robots and other robots.
According to the movement of special robots, they are divided into: wheeled robots, tracked robots, foot and leg robots, creeping robots, flying robots, submerged robots, stationary robots, jet robots, wearable robots, composite robots and other robots with other movement methods
Classification by function: The functional classification of special robots is related to the industry, and the common functions mainly include extraction, installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, inspection, reconnaissance, detonation, search and rescue, transportation, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, cleaning, etc.
Special robots are a class of robots that have been rapidly developed and widely used in recent years, and are used in various industries in China's national economy. Its application scope mainly includes: agriculture, electricity, construction, logistics, medical, nursing, rehabilitation, security and rescue, military, nuclear industry, mining, petrochemical, municipal engineering, etc.
