The difference between power battery and energy storage battery:

The use range is different. Power batteries are generally used in equipment that requires high current discharge (3C-5C), and energy storage batteries are used in low current equipment (usually 0.5-1C discharge range)


The total amount of batteries is different. For batteries with the same capacity, the weight of power batteries will be heavier than energy storage batteries (the design process is different)


The price is different, the price of power battery will be more than 1.5 times that of energy storage (according to the different requirements of customers). The definition of power battery and energy storage battery is relatively broad. From the application point of view, which category do you mean? Energy storage batteries generally have a small current and are energy-type, and power batteries generally need to be able to discharge at 3C. The discharge capacity or discharge curve and platform can be compared by 3C discharge or 1.5C discharge. In terms of price, the former is 1.2 times that of the latter for the same specifications.
