The International Demand For Energy Storage Products Is Growing Rapidly

According to the latest customs statistics, in the first five months of 2021, Shenzhen exported 10.75 billion yuan of lithium-ion batteries, up 61.7% from the same period of last year and up 47.6% from the first five months of 2019 before COVID-19.

In the first five months of this year, in the main export market of Shenzhen lithium battery, the export to the European Union was 2.27 billion yuan, up 149.9%, accounting for 21.1% of the total value of the city's lithium-ion battery export in the same period; In addition, exports to ASEAN reached 1.29 billion yuan, up 46.1%.

With the spread of the epidemic around the world, the international demand for energy storage products such as household solar energy storage power supply and small industrial energy storage power supply is growing rapidly due to the influence of long home time, unstable energy supply in some countries and environmental protection, etc. Enterprises are facing the pressure of surging shipments and large testing volumes. At the same time, since the second half of last year, the supply of containers in the international shipping market tends to be tight, and the shipping schedule is difficult to deploy, which further intensifies the time pressure on enterprises to ship.
