Vietnam: Over 100,000 Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Projects Connected To The Grid In 2020

A few days ago, the Vietnam Power Group stated that as of December 31, 2020, more than 100,000 rooftop solar photovoltaic projects in Vietnam were connected to the grid, with a total power of about 9,300MWp and a cumulative total of 1.15 billion kWh. As of the end of 2020, the total installed solar power in Vietnam is about 19,400 MWp, equivalent to 16,500 MW, accounting for 25% of the total installed capacity of Vietnam's national power system, and generating 10.6 billion kWh, accounting for 4.3% of Vietnam's national power system.
