Recently, CATL has reached a cooperation with Solaris, a leading European electric bus company, to jointly facilitate the electrification of urban transportation in Europe. CATL will provide Solaris bus products with lithium iron phosphate batteries using CTP (High Efficiency Packet Pack) technology to promote the electrification of buses and contribute to reducing carbon emissions and air pollution in Europe.
It is understood that Solaris is one of Europe's leading bus and trolleybus manufacturers, with more than 22,000 vehicles built in 25 years. In 2021, Solaris is No. 1 in the European zero-emission bus market.
