It is reported that CATL will supply Tesla with the latest M3P batteries in the fourth quarter of this year. Tesla's subsequent Model Y will be equipped with the new 72-degree battery pack, and the new version of Model Y will be available early next year.
The lithium iron manganese phosphate material used in the Ningde era M3P battery will be supplied by German Nano, which plans to put into production 110,000 tons of lithium iron manganese phosphate material in the second half of this year.
According to reports, the M3P battery is a battery developed by CATL based on a new material system. Its energy density is higher than that of lithium iron phosphate, and its cost is better than that of ternary batteries.
