Engie Energía Chile, a subsidiary of French Energy Company, has begun to operate its largest solar park COYA in Chile. The power station is located in María Elena, Anto Gasta.
The facility consists of 369,432 optical boards, equipped with a robot cleaning system for Israeli ECOPPIA. The power station will be transmitted to the National Electric Power System (SEN) and power for 73,000 households. The company is still building a 638 MWH battery energy storage system, the BESS COYA project.
Engie recently connected the 88 MW Capricornio array and 114 MW Tamaya Solar Power Station to Sen.
