AI visual detection completely replaces manual detection

Since 2021, Schneider Electric has cooperated with Amazon Cloud Technology to successfully complete data aggregation, model training and iteration of AI industrial vision inspection system in the cloud, and successfully build a set of effective "cloud-edge collaborative AI industrial vision inspection platform".


MAO Feifei, head of digital solutions for Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain in China, introduced that the AI industry visual inspection platform can improve detection efficiency. "The data showed that the missed detection rate of AI visual detection dropped to zero and the false detection rate dropped to 0.5 percent, helping the factory improve quality inspection efficiency."


Buildings, machines and power grids will be upgraded with the Internet of Things


In 2018, Schneider Electric wuhan plant was awarded the "Green Factory" certification by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.


At Schneider Electric's Wuhan plant, energy consumption is transmitted to a "central brain" through a number of sensors that display data on energy consumption in real time. The collection and analysis of big data of energy indicators can make reasonable allocation of electricity and water in factories and office areas, and optimize the use of energy as much as possible.


Cao Jie, IT Director of Schneider Electric Global Supply Chain In China, introduced that the wuhan factory has completed the intelligent and Internet of things upgrading from building, power distribution, machinery, factory and power grid five systems in only two years. In February 2018, the photovoltaic power generation system of Schneider Electric wuhan plant was put into operation, which provides about 18% of the plant's electricity supply annually, reducing operating costs and saving resources.


Wuhan's experience can be exported to the world through the "cloud"


"Lighthouse Factory" is becoming the core competitiveness of "Made in Wuhan".


According to Li Cong, general manager of Schneider Electric Manufacturing (Wuhan), Schneider Electric operates in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, with 23 factories and 7 logistics centers in China alone. With amazon's global network of cloud technology, corporate data can be quickly shared, and Wuhan's experience will be seamlessly transferred to the group's factories in Europe, North America and other places to create more "beacon factories," Li said.
