Denmark developers European Energy Corporation acquired a majority equity of 3600 MW solar energy and PTX project companies in Australia. Developers said that European Energy Corporation's acquisition of Austrom in Queensland will accelerate the development process of the 3.6GW solar-hydrogen energy project in the Gryston area. The European Energy Corporation will be responsible for the development of the solar-hydrogen energy project combination and the management of the grid. It is estimated that the project can produce more than 100,000 tons of green hydrogen each year.
Austrom is an Australian company that specializes in the procurement and development of large renewable energy projects. In September 2022, Austrom reached an agreement with European Energy, and European Energy will acquire most of Austrom's equity. European Energy Corporation said that it will accelerate the formal development and grid process of 3.6GW solar hydrogen energy project combination in the next few months.
