According to data released by the Greek Photovoltaic Corporation Association, the installed capacity of the Greek solar market in 2022 was three times the 2021. Greece's new networking photovoltaic capacity was 1.36GW in 2022. Among them, 341.5MW is connected to the Greek power network and about 1020MW connect to the Greek distribution network.
These numbers are preliminary statistics because Greece has not officially announced the number of new photovoltaic deployments in 2022. Greek renewable energy operator DAPEEP only announced data as of the end of September 2022. DAPEEP's data shows that Greece installed a total of 932MW new photovoltaic capacity in the first three quarters of 2022, but excluding installation data under net measuring, this data will be announced by the Greek distribution grid operator Hedno.
Helapco's more complete photovoltaic market statistics show that the net metering system only accounts for a small part of 1.36GW new installed solar capacity.
In fact, according to Halapco, the 109.4MW net measuring photovoltaic photovoltaic photovoltaic has been connected to the Greek local power grid, and the small independent operators operating independent power grids in Greece increased the net measurement photovoltaic capacity by 1.4MW. Interestingly, the 5.4MW net meter capacity of the Greek power grid installed in 2022 includes a virtual net metering system.
Considering that the installed capacity of the commercial net measuring system is more than twice the residential system, the Greek government hopes to promote the development of the residential solar industry by implementing a new rebate plan for the field of home photovoltaic and energy storage. The government said that the new plan will be released soon, probably before the end of March 2023.
In 2022, the new installation photovoltaic capacity was at least three times the photovoltaic capacity of the 422MW new installed machine in 2021. This includes small solar power plants and net measuring systems with a subsidy rate that obtains subsidy rates, obtained network electricity prices, and a scale of less than 500kW.
Helapco said that in the new system of the Internet, there are 200 systems or about 20MW capacity connecting low -voltage grids, 1602 systems or 890MW capacity connect to the medium voltage grid, and about 341.5MW capacity connects high -voltage grids.
