In daily life, many logistics companies are already using AGV homing robots. So what drives this AGV?
I. DC motor drive management system
AGV's DC motor drive system was basically driven by DC motors until the 1990s. Dc motor itself has low efficiency and relatively large size and mass. The commutator and brush of the DC motor drive system limit its speed rise to a maximum speed of 6000-8000r/min. Because of this characteristic, except for small cars, electric vehicles rarely use dc motor drive system.
Two, induction motor drive
Induction motors were developed and combined with new technology in the 1990s and are still in the stage of perfection. It has the advantages of high efficiency, small size, small weight, simple structure, free maintenance and long life. The system has a wide speed range, can effectively achieve economic low speed constant torque, high speed constant power operation, but the cost of ac motor controller is relatively high.
Permanent magnet synchronous motor AC drive system
The last one is AC permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system, including a three-phase brushless DC motor and a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Compared with permanent magnet synchronous motor, brushless DC motor has higher driving efficiency. Minimum size, minimum mass, no such disadvantages as DC motor commutator and brush. However, the cost of driving system is very high, and it is generally only applied in low-power electric vehicles. Permanent magnet synchronous motor is the most promising high-performance motor at present, and it is developing in the direction of electric vehicles.
The above points are three management systems of AGV unmanned handling robot technology drive control system. They are DC motor drive development system, induction motor AC drive system, permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system and so on. Each drive system has its own advantages and disadvantages, I hope to help you.
