The new type of lithium-ion battery is made of a liquid containing material, which is wet and chemically stable. The dielectric has low evaporation power and good electrochemical stability, thus improving the packaging and safety of the battery. Moreover, the battery can operate at a moderate temperature of less than 100℃, so it is suitable for motor vehicles, communications and other aspects.
The new lithium battery has a titanium disulfide cathode and an electrode composed of LIA3F6 in addition to a lithium anode. The separator is coated with surface activator and contains a special binding force formula in the cathode, compatible with the new electrode. The results show that the cycle life of this kind of battery is twice that of the best performance battery.
Sulfone based dielectric solution, such as 3MeS, is a heterocyclic compound. The reason for choosing this kind of compound as dielectric solution is that they have stronger oxidation and reduction resistance than the commonly used 2MeTHF dielectric solution. In addition, the dielectric liquid also has the characteristics of low melting point, high boiling point, so the use of a wide range of temperature. But at the same time they have very high polarity, can not make the separator non-polar materials become wet. Therefore, the surface of the separator needs to be coated with verine or silicon - ethylene imidroprid as the surface activator. These substances can make the electromedium liquid separator to change the moisture without affecting the stability of the electrode.
In order to improve the mechanical stability of the cathode, ethylene-polyvinyl chloride polymer was used as bonding patch instead of ptfe. Since the material cannot be moistened by electromediating solution, sulfone compounds are added to keep it moist
