ESM is an energy storage unit composed of lithium-ion batteries, with excellent charge-discharge characteristics, longer service life, and smaller self-discharge losses.
ESM is composed of battery cells, energy storage management unit (ESMU), power and signal terminals, structural parts, etc. ESM can be used as an independent 48V unit to support mixed-use of new and old batteries, mixed-use with lead-acid batteries, and can match third-party power applications.
Features
Parallel power expansion characteristics: N groups of parallel support power P≤24kW, the specific calculation refers to the parallel application.
Class B direct ventilation applications: in rooms with uncontrolled temperature and humidity or in general outdoor environments (including only simple shelters (such as awnings), where humidity is occasionally reached).
Support third-party power supply: Lithium battery self-management, supports matching third-party power supply applications.
Mix and match application: support direct parallel use with lead-acid batteries.
Maintenance-free: ESM can be maintenance-free during use, saving customers' battery operation and maintenance testing costs and reducing the frequency of on-site replacement.
Long life: The life of ESM is 2~3 times that of ordinary lead-acid batteries. At the same time, it can realize real-time online monitoring of site battery health and storage capacity, and improve the reliability of site backup power.

Condition monitoring: Supports the voltage and temperature of the battery cells, as well as the voltage and current detection of the entire group.
Alarm management: Supports abnormal alarms such as overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, high and low temperature.
Abnormal protection: support overvoltage, under-voltage, overcurrent, short circuit, high and low temperature, cell failure, hardware failure, and other abnormal protection.
Information reporting: Provide northbound CAN/RS485 interface, and upload alarm and status data through CAN/RS485 interface.
Parallel use: support multiple groups of ESM in parallel, CAN communication supports 32 groups, RS485 communication supports 16 groups.
