China Energy Storage Network: According to foreign media reports, South Korea's LG Electronics recently launched the Home Energy Package product in the German market, a hybrid energy system that combines a heat pump, solar power generation facility, and a battery storage system to heat and power homes and small businesses.
The system consists of a solar power generation facility from the LG Neon series, a three-phase ESS Home 8/10 battery storage system, and a Therma V air-to-water heat pump. It also features an integrated energy management system that enables residential customers to achieve maximum self-consumption. The system can be controlled through an application developed by LG Electronics.
Customers can choose from different models of solar power facilities, water storage tanks and heat pumps to enable this hybrid system to meet their respective power and heat needs.Kyuwon Heo, head of the business development team at LG Electronics, said, "We are the only German market that offers sustainable and sector-coupled energy systems in terms of hardware and software manufacturer."
The company will also offer a ten-year warranty on the water storage tanks and, if purchased overall, on the heat pumps. In addition, the solar power facility is covered by a 25-year warranty.
The company says the system can be easily integrated with LG's other products, which include electric vehicle charging stations.
