Los Angeles-based delivery robot startup Coco has officially hit the streets of Austin, Texas. As one of the most creative and diverse food cities in America, Austin matches Coco's more cost-effective, reliable and hassle-free delivery service. Coco has no plans to slow down its expansion, targeting Dallas, Houston and Miami in the coming months. Coco recently completed a Series A financing of $56 million.
In 2021, Coco has transformed the food and beverage delivery landscape in Los Angeles, operating in all major Los Angeles neighborhoods and establishing itself as an industry leader in delivery in terms of reliability, customer speed, sustainability and cost-effectiveness. Compared to traditional delivery methods, Coco says delivery times are reduced by 30% and on-time delivery rates are 97%.
