Panasonic battery charging:
1. Cycle charging and discharging mode
1. If the device is connected to the power supply and is fully charged, it will leave the power supply and be powered by the battery. In this case, the cyclic charge and discharge method should be selected.
2. The maximum voltage provided by the charging machine during cyclic charging should be limited: when the ambient temperature is 25°C, the charging voltage of the 2V battery is: 2.35-2.45V; the charging voltage of the 4V battery is: 4.70-4.90V; the charging voltage of the 6V battery The charging voltage is: 7.05-7.35V; the charging voltage of the 8V battery is: 9.40V-9.80V; the charging voltage of the 10V battery is: 11.75-12.25V; the charging voltage of the 12V battery is: 14.1-14.7V. The maximum charging current is not more than 25%A of the rated capacity value.
3. Stop charging immediately when the charging is saturated, otherwise the battery will be damaged or the battery will bulge easily due to overcharging.
4. When charging and discharging, the battery cannot be inverted.
5. The cycle life depends on the depth of each discharge. The greater the depth of discharge, the fewer times the battery can be cycled.
2. Floating charging mode
1. If the device is always connected to the power supply and is in a charging state, but when the external power supply stops, it is powered by the battery. In this case, the floating charging mode should be selected.
2. The setting range of the floating charging voltage of each battery in the battery pack should be strictly controlled: when the environment is 20°C, the floating charging voltage of the 2V battery is: 2.25-2.30V, and the maximum charging current is not greater than 25%A of the rated capacity value. .
3. The service life of the float charge is mainly affected by the float charge voltage and ambient temperature. The higher the float charge voltage, the shorter the battery life.
3. Discharge
When the battery terminal voltage is lower than the specified termination voltage or over-discharged for many times, the over-discharge will bring severe damage to the battery and terminate the battery life in advance.
