Renewal energy developer RPLUS Energies plans to operate a 400MW solar power generation facility in Utah.

Renewal energy developer RPLUS Energies has recently signed a long -term power procurement agreement (PPA), which plans to operate a 400MW solar power facilities in Emuri County, Utah.

RPLUS Energies said that it has signed this agreement with US public business manufacturers Pacificorp, which will deploy a 200MW battery energy storage system. The project is currently the largest solar+energy storage project in Utah's plan.

When bidding, Pacificorp submitted a 1.8GW solar power field and 600MW battery energy storage system bidding to expand its capacity installation capacity. Later, the bid was shortlisted and the bid was won.

RPLUS Energies is expected to begin construction of the project in early 2023. EPC service provider Sundt Construction will provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for this solar+energy storage project.

RPLUS Energies has recently realized the first 104MW solar power generation commercial operation in Utah, and started to build a 200MW solar power generation project in IRON County earlier this year.

RPLUS Energies also signed a long -term agreement with Pacificorp to purchase the power of the two projects, so that the capacity installed capacity of renewable energy signed by RPLUS Energies exceeded 1.2GW.
